After having the courage to overcome toxic relationships, I was finally able to appreciate myself and understand my worth. I can overcome anything and be whoever I want to be. Scorpio energy, resurrection, like the phoenix being born again…I’m a better version of myself.
WHAT’S ONE THING THAT GIVES YOU CONFIDENCE?
Makeup. After coming out of a depression, I started practicing makeup artistry. Creating crazy looks was therapeutic and felt like meditation to me.
WHAT DOES BEAUTY MEAN TO YOU?
It is subjective, an abstract concept with no definition per se. Beauty like art is a perception. You can find beauty everywhere if you have the right eye for it.
CAN YOU TELL US ABOUT A TIME YOU HAD TO OVERCOME A FEAR?
I overcame the fear of embracing who I am. The freak that I am. I’m no longer trying to fit myself into social norms. I went from being bullied to being proud of who I am. I don’t give a sh*t.
